PRACTICE
Space for independent artists to develop their craft, prepare for events and return to their practice.

Community · Practice · Breaking culture
A community space I created for dance artists in Dublin. Bringing dancers and DJs together to practise, exchange and develop their craft.
While preparing for Red Bull BC One, I noticed how difficult it could be for independent artists in Dublin to find space they could use consistently to develop their craft and prepare for major events.
Mash House Studio made me their artist in residence and gave me space to develop my own practice. That support also made it possible to create a community space in Dublin.
Anblocc grew from that opportunity: a place for dancers and DJs to come together, practise and exchange. It has brought together consistent practice sessions for Dublin’s street dance community, alongside a community battle.
Developed with the support of Mash House Studio.
Space for independent artists to develop their craft, prepare for events and return to their practice.
Bringing dancers and DJs together through sessions, shared practice and the culture around street dance.
Creating opportunities for the community to come together through breaking and dance battles.

My aim is to secure financial support that helps keep practice sessions consistent and accessible to everyone, while creating more educational opportunities and workshops.
